[Paradox: Cat and Toast]

Am I the only one who sees this easily?

This always annoyed me! It's not a paradox.

The cat would just land on it's feet, and the toast would not have landed - hence no violation. Problem solved.

What WOULD be a paradox is if you attached the toast to the cat's feet butter side up. That way the cat either lands on its back, or the toast lands butter side up.

THAT is a paradox.

Superb

The voice acting had superb comic timing. It's the only reason such a corny joke flew so well (that is by no means a criticism - timing and performance is everything).

Learn how to put in a Stop, and Replay button, and it would have given you an extra point. Put a bit more polish on the animation and graphics, find a friend with a good mic and this would near a 10. None lost for length by the way.

This was easily a daily first, and I mean no dishonour to 'Little Animation'. Unfortunately 'Lovey-Dovey' and 'Doing everything the hard way' will always triumph over well scripted, hilarious excellence.

Sometimes you just upload on the wrong day. Trust me on that.

Try experimenting with making the dialogue/grunting a little quieter when the camera is far away to give it a sense of distance.

It was good, but it could have been a lot better. Sometimes, by simply cutting out the less funny jokes it makes the movie as a whole funnier - and it's less work!

Here's something to try: Take each joke and either say it out loud, or explain it to a friend - you'll judge it harsher out in the open, and you can easily tell which jokes won't fly.

For example:
"Zelda sees a rupee across a cliff. He falls down the cliff trying to reach it"

Once explained, it becomes obvious that there is no joke there, though in one's mind it may feel like one.

Hey again

You do two things well: Static faces, and static backgrounds. They're genuinely excellent, better than most of the videos here. I'd team up with someone for everything else - shouldn't be too hard, most people are bad at the things you're great at, and vice-versa.

Why?

Maybe if you could give us some context for this I would have liked it better. As is, I don't understand the point.

- It doesn't have any 'jokes' as such, so it isn't just straight comedy.
- It can't be political, because it raises no issues or themes, is completely irrelevant to Australia and doesn't feature any recent Prime Ministers.
- And it isn't polished enough to be 'arty', which usually excuses the previous points.

Unless this was made for a 'make something about Australia and Monsters in 3 hours' competition, I don't get it.

I like the water colour style, though it clashed with the vector style - title screen and exit screen looked great.

P.S. *sigh* More pointless nudity - All it does is reduce your audience
